Why woven thread, not slick
Each head is strung with a woven multifilament thread rather than the slick monofilament used on disposable picks. Woven is softer and fractionally thicker, so it flexes into the gumline instead of snapping against it, and it grips plaque rather than skating over it.
It also holds tension through rinsing, which is what makes a head reusable at all.
The thread itself is a high molecular weight polyethylene, independently tested by SGS to the US FDA's food contact standard, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520, passing both the extractable fraction and soluble fraction tests. No BPA. No PTFE. No PFAS. No PFOS. No forever chemicals.
How long a head lasts
Two to three cleans per head, then swap. Rinse and reuse for up to a week.

How is Flossei™ different from regular string floss or a water flosser?

Will Flossei™ work for me if I have crowns, braces, or tight teeth?

What do the timer and pause reminders do?
