How it works
Three steps. Then it runs itself.
No winding thread around your fingers, no reaching blind for the back molars, no water sprayed across the mirror. Just the part that actually cleans.
-
Load.
Snap a fresh floss head onto the handle. One hand, about a second, no threading and nothing to wind around your fingers.
-
Place.
Rest the thread between two teeth and let it settle against the gumline. Let the head do the work. Pushing hard is the one thing that snaps a thread.
-
Floss.
Press the button once. It pauses every 30 seconds to move you to the next section and switches itself off when you are done.
Most people know they should floss. Almost nobody does it every day. We built Flossei around that gap, rather than pretending it isn’t there.
What clinicians make of it
“a worthwhile investment in your oral health”
“Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how preventable most gum disease is with proper flossing. Flossei solves the biggest hurdle by making effective daily care simple and accessible. If you’re considering it, I can confidently say it’s a worthwhile investment in your oral health.”
College of Medicine and Dentistry, James Cook University
“I absolutely love it!”
“After a colleague recommended that I try the Flossei electric flosser, I was initially quite sceptical. As a dental practitioner, I’ve already spent hundreds of dollars on different dental care products, so I wasn’t expecting it to make much of a difference. After using it for a few days, though, it’s safe to say that I absolutely love it! I have fairly tight contacts, and the Flossei has made flossing noticeably easier and more convenient. I was also expecting the floss heads to wear out or break after a few uses, but they’ve actually been surprisingly durable. After trying it for just a few days, I’m completely sold. I’ve even ordered two more for friends because I think they’ll love it too. Really impressed with the product!”
“It is exceptionally well made”
“Even as a long time Pikster user, I was thoroughly impressed after trying the Flossei electric flosser. It is exceptionally well made, and the mode settings function seamlessly every time. Hopefully this product will encourage more patients to floss regularly.”

Up to 12,000 oscillations a minute, aimed through a 30° arc.
Raw speed on its own just buzzes against a tooth. What actually clears a contact point is speed combined with the right angle of attack, and that pairing is the whole idea behind the Flossei™ head.
Vibration does the work
Sonic frequency loosens plaque and trapped food, so you are not forcing floss through a tight gap on finger pressure alone.
Oscillation sets the angle
The head sweeps a controlled 30° arc, hugging the curve of each tooth and reaching the gumline edge that a straight pass skims right past.
Four intensities, one button
Soft (6,000 oscillations/min) while your gums adjust, Standard (12,000) for everyday, Strong (14,000) for stubborn spots, and Burst (7,200 to 12,000, variable) to massage the gumline.
Not sure where to start? Stay on Soft for the first few sessions. Read the full technique guide
Every Flossei™ head has a scraper on the back.
You are not buying two products. Tongue cleaning adds five seconds to your routine, not a second tool to remember.

1
Fights bad breath at the source
Clears the odour causing bacteria that build up on the back of your tongue, the part brushing never reaches.
-
2
Sharpens your sense of taste
Lifting the dulling film off your taste buds so food actually tastes like food again.
-
3
Fewer bacteria to migrate back
The tongue is a reservoir. Clearing it leaves fewer bacteria to move back onto your teeth and gums between brushes.

4
Leaves your tongue looking healthy
Gone is the white or yellow coating. Back is the natural pink.

A lower bacterial load in the mouth means less of the inflammation the research further up this page is concerned with.
You are already sharing your mouth.
More than 700 species live in there. Some of them keep it healthy. Others drive bad breath, plaque and gum disease. A sterile mouth was never the goal. A balanced one is.
The top of your tongue is textured rather than smooth, which makes it the one surface that holds a coating. That coating is a biofilm, and it is where most of the gases behind bad breath are produced.
In trials, cleaning the tongue cut those gases by around 42% with a tongue cleaner and 40% with a scraper, against 33% for brushing alone.Cochrane review of tongue scraping for halitosis. Two small trials, forty participants, evidence graded weak. Promising rather than settled, and reported here as what the trials found.
Everything you need, right out of the box
One kit, fully equipped. Nothing extra to buy, and nothing you find out you needed three weeks later.
Each head is good for two to three cleans, so sixty heads is around four to six months of daily flossing. Refills come in packs of 50, with a subscription if you would rather not think about it. Many electric flossers on the market ship with 20 heads or fewer. Ours gives you three times that before a refill ever crosses your mind.
