Getting started
How is Flossei™ different from regular string floss or a water flosser?
String floss works, but it's fiddly and back teeth are hard to reach. Water flossers help too, but need a sink and can get messy. Flossei sits in between: real contact cleaning, one handed, no spray or finger wrapping.
Will Flossei™ work for me if I have crowns, braces, or tight teeth?
For most people, yes. The tapered head and soft vibration are built to ease in rather than force through, and starting on the Soft setting usually helps. If you have bridges or implants, check with your dentist first.
Can I skip regular flossing if I use Flossei™?
Not quite. Flossei is flossing reinvented, not replaced. Dental professionals still recommend a daily interdental clean, and Flossei makes that easy to stick to.

What do the timer and pause reminders do?
Each mode runs for 5 minutes and pauses briefly every 30 seconds as a cue to move to a new area of your mouth, then switches off automatically when the session ends.
Is Flossei™ safe to use in the shower?
Yes. Flossei is rated IPX7 waterproof, so it's fully safe in the shower or over the sink.
Care and charging
How many floss heads come with the kit, and how long do they last?
Every Flossei kit ships with 60 reusable floss heads. Replace each head weekly, or sooner if the thread frays. Rinse a head under warm water after each use and swap it when the thread starts to fray.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
A single three hour charge is good for 60 to 80 days of everyday use. The handle charges on its wireless dock, and the dock itself recharges over USB-A.
What are the floss heads made from, and are they safe?
The handle is ABS, a durable engineering plastic chosen for strength and impact resistance. The thread is a high molecular weight polyethylene, independently tested by SGS to the FDA's food contact standard, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520, and passing both required tests. No BPA. No PTFE. No PFAS. No PFOS. No forever chemicals, just a smooth, shred resistant thread that glides between teeth and stays gentle on sensitive gums.
